I am not a terribly consistent blogger.

**

Blue is the sky
Green is the leaf
Red is an apple
White is a wide emptiness,
Filling all our hearts.

The sky can be black
The sea can be green

Orange is the fruit we eat
Purple a beautiful violet,
Yellow the brilliant sun

An orange can be green
Beautiful flowers
A psychedelic red
The sun roars a blinding magenta
Purple dyes the grass

Our blood is red

Our heart an azure blue
Pumping blood of glowing yellow
Our bones a mysterious purple
Our skin a serene green
Our eyes a subtle orange
We are the pot of gold, found

At the bottom of the rainbow

An unconventional poem I attempted - to advocate non-conformism (I hope it can be seen!)

  1. Wonderful poem, but I couldn't make out its meaning before the last line of your post.
Nevertheless, this poem is one simple poem that fulfill its purpose. (Well, not really, for me.)
